How long does it take to get a dental crown
Generally, two appointments are needed for the dental crown procedure. At the first visit, Dr. Banks will prepare the tooth for the crown, removing decay and defective restorations. An impression is then made and sent to the lab for the fabrication of the crown. The patient will leave the office with a temporary crown securely in place. You will return approximately two weeks later for the final dental crown to be fitted and permanently secured in place.
How much does a dental crown cost?
The cost of a dental crown varies based on a number of factors such as the location, materials, and number of crowns needed. If you have dental insurance, your crown may be covered. As a courtesy, we will submit a claim with the reimbursement to be sent directly to you from the insurance company.
How long do dental crowns last?
